As most of ya'll are well aware, unless you have a 71+ Buick the suspension parts suppliers are extremely limited and the big pieces annoyingly expensive. Upper ball joints for example or my most recent replacement, a centerlink. I can't speak for the supplier of the UBJ's that I did in April last year on the Riv but they held up great on Powertour 2007 and are still looking good as we speak since I've been under the car quite a bit recently. I couldn't get the pitman arm off of my centerlink earlier and ended up baddly mangling the joint in an attempt to seperate the two. Since I not only destroyed the joint, see my post cronicling that ordeal, and ripped up the bushings I had to send it out to be redone. The suppliers were pretty much 3 people and I have now learned its definately only 2 or possibly only 1. I started out with CARS in New Jersey, Kanter Auto Products which is also in New Jersey, and Rare Parts out in California. I chose Kanter since I liked thier ball joints and they were only slightly more expensive than CARS who I was suspicious of for this type of thing. What I got back, 2 weeks late but it was over the holidays, is a beautiful looking centerlink.... in a Rare Parts bag. I am now convinced that Kanter is probably just a Rare Parts dealer and from what I have heard, its about the best stuff you can get for lots of these older odd ball cars. So I give Kanter a good thumbs up for everything I've used them for so far, hopefully they won't let ya'll down.

I've gotten lots of stuff from Kanter to do with brakes and suspension for the older Buicks. Pretty good place. I can't say a single good thing about CARS though, and I'm glad that you didn't give them your business.
