Doesn't seem like a bad deal at all. $1800 !!! This is from a Vintage BMX site that I hang out on. Skylark If you need me to get in touch with the guy via that board, lemmie know. Casey
Interested in Buick Casey, Seems like a nice car. Would it be too much trouble for you to check it out. I am interested. Thanks Juan
It's mine. I posted that car on here a couple times over the last couple years but didn't get much interest. I think the location is too remote. I live in VA but the car is located in Western NY halfway between Rochester and Buffalo. My dad is storing it. He's been tinkering with it for a while now and has it running pretty good. The body has a bit of fiberglass in it. The cowl was in rough shape. I sandblasted it and covered it with glass. The same with under the rear window. I painted it myself so don't look too closely. New tires on nice 14 inch rallye wheels. New windshield. Lots of spare parts. Desperately needs seat covers and headliner. Stock 430 from a 69 Wildcat with rebuilt long tail TH400. Unknown miles but that engine pulls like no tomorrow. Battery tray area damage. Frame is in great shape.
The car has never been listed on ebay. Like I said, I've listed here at least twice in the past. A guy looked at it yesterday and offered $1500. My dad is sticking firm at $1800. It looks like the 430 has low oil pressure. I think that scared away the potential buyer more than anything. The car was driven a little in 2000 and before that it's last significant road time occurred in 1991. I would not trust driving it very far without going over it thoroughly. Unless you're local, I would suggest trailering it.
