Some know I had the rear out of the Skyhawk. Was reinstalling today and when it came time for the drive shaft it turned about 1/2 way and stuck. Nearly a full turn the other way and it stopped. Checked for N and if I put something in the joint for leverage I could push past the tight spot and it would spin free until it came back to that place. I dont think this is normal. Panicked at first thinking when I broke the axle something happened to the trans as well. Finished buttoning everything up and fired it while on the stands and it turns and seems normal. Car is way too loud to hear anything from inside the trans. Checked to see if it was something hitting the shaft, all clear there. So anyone have an idea whats going on or is this normal? It was recently rebuilt by Rossler.

Didnt seem like a joint binding. The pinion angle is pretty close to straight on.
