Well let me start by saying hello and goodday to all!!!!!! Now with all that out of the way here's my problem, I purchased my first dream car a 55 Buick Special and I got to say I love it I'm in heaven, but you see I bought the car two weeks ago and it's been sitting on the trailer till today when I decdied to get busy with it and see what I got to do to make it run, I hooked up the fuel line, battery, checked the oil ( it's full & clean ),and I thought that would be all I needed, just get in and start it right, well the key only says LOCKED< ON< OFF (PROBLEM) HOW DO YOU ENGAGE THE STARTER? PLEASE HELP Thanks KRUSH
55 Buick My Grampa had a 56 Special and it was a foot starter just turn it to the on position and hold the gas pedal to the floor it should turn over or there's a round knob down by the gas pedal.Very cool car i just loved my grampas car even had dual exhaust on it. Good Luck!!!:grin:
