I'm so happy with the way this turned out I had to post a couple of pic's. The CD Changer came with my stereo from Custom Auto Sound, the amp was courtesy of Saint Nick.

I made the enclosure out of plywood and covered it with marine grade vinyl, the grain is alot like that of the seat covers, and looks to be an exact match to my well liner.
Still need to tape up that wire bundle:Dou:

    Len, you're killing me here.

You gotta take a couple minutes and post more pics of that beauty somewhere. The last couple I saw, it was sitting in the driveway with a few of the trim pieces on it.

Very nicely done BTW. I'll probably do something similer in my trunk now that I've seen how nice it can turn out. :TU:

    Thanks Jim,
Maybe this weekend I'll put up a couple more shots of it as it's pretty well done. Still need to charge the A/C and when Mike Garrison finishes my parts car posi carrier I've got to swap those out.
I'm going to enclose the other side also for storing misc. item's, if you want I'll mail you the cardboard templates I used, yours should be exactly the same shape.

Yes, please do! I sent you a pm.

My friend Rich (NvrDn here on the board) is going to change over his ac compressor to the same style you used and mount it in a similer fashion on his 70 convertible. We found the couple pics you posted of it last year. He really likes the way it sits and doesn't cover up theside of the motor or hide the valve cover.
