I need this 4.1 gone! Its frozen due to water in the engine. I was told a head gasket went bad. I don't know what the inards look like, but I'm guessing pretty bad. Looking through the fuel pump hole reveals some rust. Anyway, I'm told these have steel cranks that the turbo guys desire. I had someone interested in it, but he has not answered at least five PMs and one post on the board over a two month period, and I need space. If nobody wants the whole thing, I guess I'll get rid of it in parts. Either way, It'll be gone soon. All free.
Would someone who is registered on the Turbo Board please put this info on there. I hate to waste stuff and I need this thing gone. Thanks.
I'll take the intake Dan!! I want my peppy little grey car to have a 4 bbl before I get rid of it. Is the Carb on your regal or is it "for sale" too?

Thanks Ken! Joe, I remember now that you asked about the intake before. No carb cause its on the LeSabre. I now have PMs interested in the Distributor and Crank as well. I guess I'll be dismantling it hopefully Sunday. Joe, you know how to reach me for the intake. I'll contact the other two guys through PM response's. PS. Ken, I wonder if the guy interested in the crank came from the Turbo board?:beer

Gsjohhny, I'm sure the Posi will work fine. I won't be putting that in for a few months. I still owe JW the shipping and will send it out next pay. It arrived during the Christmas season and you know how money dissappears during that time. I hope you don't mind me parting the V-6. I took your unanswered E-mails as a sign of no interest. I wish I could just warehouse this stuff, but I'm discovering that when it comes to storing my cars and working on them in winter, that the only person I can depend on is myself. In other words, I need to start making space fast! Also I'd like to clarify that not responding to E-mails about possible transactions when zero money has been sent does NOT constitute bad feedback in my opinion! Gsjohnny is A O K!!!!!!!

Joe, I'm gonna have that intake off tomorrow. I'm gonna try to dismantle the whole engine tomorrow for anyone else who's waiting on me. Anyway Joe, I figure Dave will be by sometime and he can pick it up. I can't think of anything I need right now, short of mental help:rant: , but I'll keep it in mind.

Hey Dan, Dave dropped the intake off today (he had to stumble over my posi 7.5 that I picked up for $20). Boy is it dirty...I spent about 2 hours scraping the heavy stuff off. I haven't used any kerosene or other grease dissolver on it yet. I stripped most of the things off of it. Of course I broke a bolt on the thermostat housing. I drilled it out and retapped it. No problem, except the bolt seems a little loose. I may have to drill it out bigger and tap it again. I plan to decomputerize the car and put my 73 Pontiac Quadrajet on it. None of this will happen till at least late Feb-early March when the weather breaks. Maybe we can race this spring!!! Thanks a bunch!!
