    Kerry Joke

    Post Turtle

While suturing a laceration on the hand of a 70-year-old
    Massachusetts
business Tycoon (whose hand had been caught in a fence while
    working at
his country home), a doctor and the old man were talking about
    Senator John
Kerry possibly being in the White House one day. The old Tycoon
    said,
"Well, ya know, Kerry is a 'post turtle'."

Not knowing what the old man meant, the doctor asked him what a
    post turtle
was. The old man said, "When you're driving down a country road and
    you
come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a
    post turtle."

The old man saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he
    continued to
explain. "You know he didn't get there by himself, he doesn't
    belong there, he
can't get anything done while he's up there, and you just want to
    help the poor
    stupid critter get down."

Ethan, get off the dang computer and go get working on that Buick!....do it now......yes right now. You will be happy if you do.

I'll tell ya what, I know life gets in the way of working on ther car sometimes so I'll make it easy. You're in LA, I'm in LA, let's make a deal to get at least one project or more done per week. We can e-mail and talk in the threads or on the phone each week to discuss what progress has been made. If this sounds like motivation....it is. Let's get these crates back on the road by Summer..

Well Nick that is pretty good motivation... it's actually the DAY JOB that's getting in the way of working on my Buick! I do manage to post here on these boards while at work but for the most part I've been very busy at work...

Yup, definitely want to get the car back on the road by summer, but it's gonna be hard! I'm making my 'Buick to do list' right now, and it's about 12 pages long. :ball: But I just got my tax return so maybe I can get back at it again! Maybe I'll start a thread about my progress... :TU:

LOL....I'm at work goofing off too. Would much rather be in the garage tinkering. I have my to do list done but, it keeps amending itself. I have most of the parts already though so, it's all about picking a project and having time to finish it.
