I need to know from your experience where you like to set (degree ) a cam. I am installing a hemi killer cam and would like to know if they work best straight up or advanced, retarded, etc. Any info would be appreciated.
    Thanks Tom

    Tom,

Give me some specifics on the application and specs for the car.

I will tell you , that in a street application, with the typical 3.42 gears and the 3000 stall converter that goes with that cam, I would install it about 6* advanced typically.

As for the specs. on the car I have 3:73 gears and 3000-3200 converter. As for the engine it is a 70 455 bores 40 over, 11.7 comp. forged pistons, sp1 intake, roller rockers, 900 cfm holley, stock bottom end, ta headers, deep pan, ported stage 1 heads.
    Thanks Tom
