Spoke with Jim this morning. His arm was broken and is now in a cast - A PURPLE ONE. He said he is "stiffer than sh*t and somewhat sore. He thanked everyone for their help and is looking forward to getting his new car finished for 2005. His ego was also slightly bruised. He must have been real sore because he missed his Monday Night out with the guys at the "t*tt*e bar. That's equivalent to the Pope missing church on Sunday. :grin:
John What was the purpose of what he was doing anyway? I was too busy to get the story from anyone.... I've never been a fan of "Hot Rodding" in the pits/return road any way....Things like this can happen and there is too much to lose,As evidenced here.
Screwin' around or racing legit on the track, one thing is still for sure. Quick cars are designed to kill the driver and must always be treated that way. BTW, Those sidebars on the rollcage appeared to work well. Coulda been worse. I hope he recovers well and everybody is reminded of the safety issue.
