Finally installed the 98 JGC box I found last summer along with dorman #31011 ragjoint . Bought a new JGC return hose (low pressure). I also have the valve from the JGC box along with spring and metric fitting (right side in picture). I was going to get a new JGC pressure hose and install the JGC hadware in my 68 skylark pump but the fittings are not the same length. The O-ring gasket on the buick fitting (left of picture) sits less deep than the JGC one. They do not look interchangeable at all. How do I fix this? Thanks for the help

I think you need an adapter to go from JGC " metric" to the Buick line.

Do you have a part # and brand? Do I keep the buick valve and fitting in pump?

Pro touring. Com and Chevelle.com both have information on this topic. I am on my phone so I can't get this for you but you can find it there.

I did the conversion on my old GS. There’s a company that sells brass fittings you put in the steering box so it will seal with the original hoses. If I remember where I bought them I’ll post it. Drawing a blank at the moment.

Me, too! I used a Grand National F41 steering box.
