    pretty cool video.
    loved seeing those hot sections coming back for warranty by the airlines. 20k cycles and they sent them back with 30k cycles. amazing the engine still ran.
    92k of thrust, only about a third is thru the engine, the rest is around/thru the 8-10 ft nacelle area
    now, if we made our engines out of some of these materials, rebuilds would be very far apart.

    Very cool! Totally unlike the automotive turbines I worked on on the M1A1 and A2 tanks. Even though the basic principles are the same, turbines of all types are still cool!
