I was checking my email and I got one of their newsletters about their sales/etc. This item was featured pretty prominently and I just couldn't help myself from thinking "Hmm..that looks like crap!". Am I right or wrong on this one? It doesn't look like it lines up or even matches anything. o No:
You got that right.. I was never much for those dash pads. The ones I have seen in real life look little more than a piece of carpet on top of a really cruddy dash. They pitch it as a way of protecting/fixing an old dash, but it looks like poop..
I got suckered on one of them on ebay. Though I only paid $5 for it. It was the wrong color and was just that. A crapy piece of carpet.
They only serve one purpose that i'm aware of and that is "glare from off the dash". I know this because everytime i was driving my moms Roadmaster the glare off the dash would blind me so bought one of those things to cut the glare but other than that there is no real purpose.
