"JAWS" Roy Sheider passes at 75

    Just saw this too. Roy did a great job in all his roles. I hope he led a happy life.

    wow..."Blue Thunder" and "52 Pick-up" had to be 2 of his best....

    Sorry to hear the news. I liked Roy and Jaws is one of my favorites.

    7 ups is wild car chase
    I think one of the best done for sure..
    thanks for the link never seen it before ,,,
    nice way to be remembered doing 95 down the hwy...

    My dad took me to see the Seven-Ups when it came out. I hadn't yet seen Bullitt so I had never seen a car chase that cool before. Of course, they dubbed in an awful lot of up-shifts and down-shifts that sound like a 12 speed transmission to me. Anyway, that was the first movie I remember seeing him in and I've been a fan of his ever since. RIP.

    This is sad. I liked his characters, especially the old 70's NYC movies. Remember he was also in the French Connection, Marathon Man and showed some incredible acting range with "All that Jazz" ("It's showtime!").
