My family does not mess with the rice but we love to take down snooty Euro mobiles. My daughter has the GN right now (we trade back and forth, can only drive one at a time) and was driving around Lansing. She stops at a light and a Jaguar pulls up next to her. It is one of those situations where the road is going to narrow to the center in a few hundred yards. Daughter is in the good lane and the guy in the Jag thinks he is going to blow her off and move over :error:

Light changes and she comes off even and easy because of some hard street tires and not into the boost. She said it was kind of even for a few feet, new she had to be patient for the boost to kick in. The boost kicks in and she rides it with minimal tire spin until the road narrow. Chalk up one Jag.

I am going to have to trade her back for the GN... nobody wants to mess with the X. Could the 3 inch muffler system and 413 cam have anything to do with it?

    road narrows

    Good job darlin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same thing happen to me many years back when I had just built my GS 455 clone. I'm in the good lane and some guy in his new 6 series BMW pulls out into the lane that has to merge back. The light goes green and I come off easy so I just stay door to door with him. After about 50 yards I open the four barrels, let him hear the 2 1/2 in exhaust and wave bye-bye.
The speed limit is only 35 MPH so I ease out of it and coast to the next light which he runs by pulling around me across the double yellow line. Euro's get really upset at losing to American muscle.
