    Very Cool Alan!

And Yardley, that's actually the 2-3 shift your hearing 6900 to 6000 rpm.. 1-2 comes at 1.5 seconds, 2-3 at 4.8 seconds..

And then it seems like it's in high gear for a year...

    Working on that deal..

Got it down to 3120 lbs now, and solidly in the 9.30's, in midwestern air.

ya.. that car is very sensative to rear weights... it was off from the tow down there, and I just did not have the ambition to put it on the wheel scales.

When the rear tire weights are within 10 lbs of each other, you can litterally drive it with your hands off the steering wheel.

It's a function of chassis stablility.. it goes exactly where the tires point it. With no flex to interfere with the the input from the wheels.

I found the RR to be 80 lbs heavy the next weekend.. tweeked the 4 link about 1/2 turn on the RH upper bar, and it went straight as an arrow again.

That car has a very rigid double rail chassis, built to handle a lot more hp than it currently has in it. Right now at this HP level, it's a bit of a weight disadvantage, But I would love to have Rod Hendrickson's blower motor in it.

Someday that car will weigh 2950, and have 1200+ HP.. Then it will run in the mid/low 8's.
