ok, i see pro's and people on TV using them all the time. what are the little aprons that people drape over the front quarter panels when their working on the engine called? usually they seem to be made of a vinyl like material. generally the ones iv seen run the whole length of the engine bay. they are used to keep from scratching your paint and rubbing sand and dirt into the finish as well as keeping chemicals away. iv been wanting to get my hands on a pair for a while but i dont know what their called!

I like the fender aprons (a/k/a bumpers) sold by Harbour Freight better than the vinyl type.

I was lucky enough to get a BP fender cover when my boss decided to sell his independent station (and the new owner was going Sunoco).
