On some of the interior of the 1970 Electra 225 that I'm looking at, there some green on the seatbelts, and on the bottom of the door in the inside. I think that all of this is caused by water, or dampness that gets into the car. Would anyone know how to take this green stuff out and bring it back to the original brown?
Here are some pictures of what I mean.....

This car has not been in a flood, nor has it been stored anywhere. I think it is just from sitting so long and rain getting into it somehow.

Maybe just mold, and mildew from dirt and moisture. :Do No:

Go pick up some cleaner that kills mold and spray it over the spots.

More than likely it's the red dye in the parts fading out. When you mix red dye and green dye, you get brown. UV fades out the red, leaving the green to come out in the color of the part. Probably only solution is to re-dye the parts, if they are in good shape otherwise.

How would you get the dye and stuff to re-dye them the same color as they originally were?
