Here is my Jeep, about 5 years to restore. Did some updating, still having carburetor issues but is drive-able.

Nice!!! That sure brings back some memories. I've had a bunch of CJ-5s back in the 70s-early 80s. They were a lot of fun. The most fun was the `78 that I put a 400 SBC/TH350 with Trans-adapt adaptor for the transfer case in. It was my everyday vehicle but I got into racing it in the sand drags on the weekends. Bolt on the paddle tires and go. Lots of fun. Took it to the dragstrip once and ran a 13.07@102mph. Best memory was beating my buddy's `69 427/390hp Corvette with it. He had no idea what was about to happen to him that night. The look on his face after his ass whoopin' was priceless

Work out of town for 2 years on a very stressful job, was home most weekends, not much Jeep work.
