Well, almost done at least. :)

I haven't been posting for a while due to the fact that I still haven't gotten the car through the DMV's inspections and also due to the fact that I still have a lot of problems with the engine.

Still, I've finsihed refurbishing the engine and the engine room so I think a "before" and "after" shot is in order (click on the images for a larger view). :)

    Before:

    <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/martin.edelius/BuickGS1972/photo#4960415791349825554"><img src="http://lh5.google.com/image/martin.edelius/RNbv4X2lABI/AAAAAAAAAGU/UkhBBg-4Ddc/s400/PICT0078.JPG" /></a>

    After:

    <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/martin.edelius/BuickGS1972/photo#5071761765027407778"><img src="http://lh4.google.com/image/martin.edelius/RmKEdDXd56I/AAAAAAAAA_U/M7hawH1bkws/s400/IMG_0976.JPG" /></a>

I wish I'd washed off the dust before I took the "after" picture and the before shot isn't the best one but I hope they convey the amount of work I've put into this.

And I have to say that it turned out very nice considering that this is the first time I refurbished an engine and an engine room.

    Here are some more shots:

This is a re-painted unit. Thanks to SMartin for the ideas on how to do it (and although it turned out a bit different from his I'm still proud of how good it looks).

As for the problems I still have - check out the street/strip 455 section for those posts. :TU:
