well - im amazed how different the car is to drive! more responsive , tons of power mid range and thats before i have properly set up the advance curve on the hei! i think the biggest factor in the new found performance has to be the Scotty g stage 1 ported and polished heads i put on ,still trying to drive carefully till i iron out any bugs though it is difficult to say the least. Im running an erson tq20h cam which is a mild cam for torque mainly cause i wanted to have a used cam and lifters so i didnt have to be too careful about breaking in the cam as i have got a new carburator,distributor and wiring etc. as it turns out it fired up straight away and didnt miss a beat!!!! i will get a few miles under my belt and a couple of runs at the track with this set up , then i will pull it tear it right down up the compression with new pistons , higher lift cam and a higher staller convertor. but thats all in the future :Brow: :Brow:
