Well, after a few friends of mine and I decided to pull an all-nighter....It's Alive!!! We spent most of the day with Brian and James and an engine dyno. We tuned, tweaked, and finally got it the way we wanted it. Well, after a stop at a junk-yard on the way home (Lotsa Buick stuff), We rolled into Parkersburg at about 8:00pm. Upon deciding we were in it for the long-haul......we set out to put a buick back together. At 5:30 this morning, it roared to life!!!!! Look Out Bowling Green....here we come!!!! We ARE gonna make the show!!! Thanks Brian, James, Jason, Rob, and Rick...... WOO-HOO!!!!! Think I will go take a much needed shower and close my eyes for a few now..............
Hey, that's great! I'm sure the first thing you do when you wake up will be to spin the key, right? :TU:
The buick runs great.......... Ken....I decided not to go to sleep, I just went in the house, took a shower, and ate some breakfast. Delivered a client's car to a car show, went back home and got my GS.....went back to the show and won "Best Buick" with it. On top of it all, my (client) buddy's Chevelle took "Best Chevrolet" and one of my All-night Buddy's 442 took "Best Olds", so.....all in all it was a great experience..... But.....after all that........ It was nappy-time....for sure!!    John
Hey John - Does this mean there will be another 'tire roast' for you this year :Brow: You running it??? :3gears:
Nah.......... Marco, I think I will find a little less "rare" car for my smoke show. I love the feel of the torque, and power....but, I don't really know how many No's matching stage 4spd cars with that kind of miles are left. I did tell Brian if he wanted to make a few passes down the .25 in it he was welcome to. I will let him fix anything broken....... It feels strong though. Not sure what it would run in the hands of a "capable" driver. John
