It's alive, it's alive!!

    My fuel gauge, that is...I didn't drive the LeSabre much when I first got it and when I finally got her road-legal the fuel gauge was stuck about a needle width above E. It has been that way for several months and thru a couple of fillups. Miraculously, over the last week it started moving and is now registering where I think it SHOULD be. What would cause this electrical resurrection and can I really trust the gauge?

    The float was stuck in the tank.
