I was doing a little research for the fun of it last night. I ran a cross a webpaige stating what GM Products where what by Year. Apparently the 61-62 Skylark & Special are Y-Bodies. The only other cars considered to be a Y-body were the Olds F-85 & firestar(something like that). And the Pontiac Tempest & Tempest Lemans. Would these chassis parts be interchangable? Like, if there was a Disc Brake Conversion for the (Y-Body) 62 Tempest. Would it work for the Skylark and Special also???? o No: Anyone know?
dont forget the olds super 88... the 64 was basied off the f-85. i had the oppertunity to buy a 64 4 dr with a solid body and no interior. and i prolly should have...
