It must have been something in the air today but everyone was trying to pick on my poor wildcat. Its a 66 with a 401. The only mods done are an msd distributor and a dual quad set up. We were leaving a restaurant for fathers day dinner and my dad was trying to race me in his 2001 chevy pick up with a duramax/ allison drivetrain. Hes always bragging about how fast his truck is! So we got into it from a 20 mph roll and I spanked him bad! Mom was in the truck with him and she hates speed so I can only imagine that she was screaming at him! LOL! Then we stopped at my sisters house for dessert. My wife met me there in her truck (a 2004 6.0L 345HP Escalade). Upon leaving my sisters house my wife and I got into it. From a 50mph roll I let her have the hit. I instantly pulled her and got out about 4 feet on her, then it was dead even for a little while but as soon as I shifted into third I started pulling on her again. After that she let off. She claims that she didnt beat me but I didnt beat her either!! WOMEN!! You think she could have at least admitted that my granny red wildcat beat her fancy schmancy escalade!! Then I got caught at a light. Another duramax pickup pulled up next to me. The light turned green and he took off. I wasnt prepared at all for it as I wasnt expecting yet ANOTHER race! I didnt even have time to manually shift it or put the switch pitch into high stall. I caught up and passed him but I have to give that truck some major credit. He was towing a mid 90's 4 door caprice on a tow dolly. I have a pretty good feeling that if he wasnt pulling that car he woulda spanked me!:moonu: Oh well, none the less the trusty nailhead powered wildcat was undefeated for me on Fathers Day! I have to stop driving this thing. Im prob going to loose my license when the 425 goes in!! P.S. HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all of you dads out there! :beer

A kills a kill. It's not like they were weaving in and out of traffic. A little gas never hurt a motor.
