Howdy all I finally got to drive my 72 skylark on Sunday! After a year of downtime it sure did feeel goood.:3gears: With the frame fixed, the new front rebuild, and more compression:Brow: I am now a happy camper. Now all she needs is traction:laugh: the old time drags are on the 24th of july so the timing is great! Mark Sheppard
Howdy Pictures are in the works! only 4 or 5 left on the roll! Took the car to mr bill tonight he wanted to see how it runs! In the street in front of his house is now filled with one very long black mark. Man was it great to see my car going down the street with all of that smoke!!!!!!!!! Good thing we live in the country. It was the insperation that I needed to work overtime this weekend. 20 hours or more(bummer). As Bill got back with the car he said that when I get gears and traction his elcamino with the ZZ4 and B&M turbo 350 does not have a chance! I told him DUUUU! There is no substitue for cubic inches. More later 3:00 comes way to early. Mark S.
