Bought this 455 a few weeks go from a board member. Figured Id test it out before investing heavily.

    oil - check
    fuel - check
    ignition - check
    intake gasket - check
mufflers - ugh.. nope not yet LOL

I was so excited as you can tell in the video

Didnt have any water in the radiator either, our intention was to just see if it would make any attempt after installing the distributor, but it wanted to go... so what you see in the video is just about how long it ran for... less than a minute.

The only thing I had mixed up was the power to the coil, I took it off the alternator. I had a switch on it to the alternator, but when I turned off the switch, technically I did cut the power to it but since the alternator was spinning and generating current, it was supplying the distributor in an endless loop! So I had to pull the wire from the coil to shut id down LOL Ill sort that out with power direct from the key instead.

After a little more testing, it will get cleaned up, new gaskets and seals and some Buick red paint. Still need to gather some parts to swap out the 350 for this one.. but I'll consider that another project.

    I cant friggin wait!!! :3gears:
