I am rebuiding my 72 350-2barrel. I have bought a new TA118 cam from a V8 member here, I am now wondering if this is the best street/strip cam for my application. I am going to add the following improvements:
30 over 10.2 pistons, ARP rod bolts, pocket porting and performance valve job, new rocker arms, stock cast 4-barrel intake with a stock rebuilt 750 quad, an HEI ingition with an MSD 6A box, hooker headers with flowmaster exhaust, 3.08 posi.
I want to be able to cruise down the freeway but also be able to surprise a few chebbies and tuners .
    So any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Tim

Sounds like thats about what you need for a cam. I'm pretty sure only poston and TA performance make buick 350 headers. Be carefull what stall speed you get on your converter. It will make a huge difference!
