Hey guys looking for some help. Im having a problem with my car breaking up from 2000 rpm to 2500 rpm. Before and after that range the car runs excellent. I had this problem last season but its alot worse now. I have played with the timing, jet size, weights and springs in the MSD dist. and still no luck. My question is could it be a problem with my MSD 6al box which is about 4 years old.

2000-2500....... What stall do you have? It could still be a carb problem depending on your combination. What is your setup? Carb, cam, comp, converter stall, ect. It could be your accelerator pump/squirter size setup on your carb thats causing your problem. Rear jet extensions and power valve plug?
Yes, MSD boxes do go bad but not just between 2000-2500.
