does this car use a different bulb for brakes than for turnsignals in the rear?

Yuk, for some reason my hazard switch was pressed, and I released it. Now everything works great! Something so simple makes such a problem- ugh. Thanks alot, Yuk. :TU::TU:

cool .... now you might sleep a little deeper (hopefully not behind the wheel).:TU:
man i love happy endings ...(wiping tears from eyes):kodak:

you are correct... if your car uses DIFFERENT bulbs for turn signals than it does for brakes.

But!!.you are WRONG... if your car uses the same bulbs for turn signals as it does for brakes. if this is the case, please look closely at the pic i posted a few posts back(from a 70 A-body schematic, i didnt have a 72 schematic.).
look at where the brake wire heads as soon as it leaves the "stop light" switch in the pic... into the harmonica connector and right up to the turn signal switch.
those rear lightbulbs dont magically change their assignments by themselves. its in the column where the magic happens.:Smarty:

leave your key off and flip the turnsignal lever one way or the other. step on your brake pedal.... what happens?
