Thinking about riding down to Barber Motorsports Park and check out the IRL and Indy Car Light test. Just curious if any one had been to a similar test and would recommend it? I still have not even seen the Barber facility...its only about a 1/2 hour away. Bert
The thing you have to remember about testing is it is not racing. Cars will not be running in packs trying to pass eachother (not the majority of the time anyway.) Guys will pull out of the pits- run a few laps, and come in and change a spring. Thats about as climatic as it will be. As long as are content in just being in that environment, and seeing the cars in person then ya, why not go...
