Hi i'm Roger from the Netherlands (so excuse me for the language mistakes) i lie this forum nd will have a look around i am theproud ownerof a Buick Riviera Boattail 1972 i've tried to upload a picture but fortunately i did not wrk for me. greetings
Roger: Mail your photo to me and I will be happy to post it in this thread :TU: Chances are big that I already have photos of your car.... :bglasses: While you're at it, don't forget to add yourself to the V8Buick board members map:
We have many members from The Netherlands. Rob vacations here taking driving tours every year while Erik seems to be in North America most of the time.
Here's Roger's Riviera. If I remember well, this car was imported and painted by MCS from Krimpen aan de Lek. (greater Rotterdam area) That's Theo's old car, I hope you didn't pay the asking price :TU:
Wow amazing, you're right i bought the car from Theo. We've made a good deal for both of us. i don't know who imported the car but according to the documentation it is in the Netherlands from 1997 thank you all for the welcme
Roger, about your BNP (Body Number Plate) question at the Monkey Board in the Netherlands: AM6 = Seat Assembly, Front Seat Split (60/40) with Center Armrest :TU:
Thank you Bad Boattail for the information ! As you've probably read , i am interested in the history of my Boattail and this was the missing information. i am really amazed that you read my question on the dutch forum and that you allready knew my car when i introduced myself at V8Buick greetings
I'm more surprised that you decided to ask your question on that board, they know next to nothing about Buicks there. Most replies began with "I think", "I'm not sure" or "I assume".... The only useful information came from one "harry_clamshell", but he's also posting here (under a different name) on V8Buick :TU:
Roger Come ad it to the Boattail Registry - we have lots of info waiting for you, when your build your members page - like every options price and numbers for each - right down to each color and decode guide . http://www.boattail-riviera-by-buick.com/ - plus you get full access the best online All Buick Library there is http://buick-libraries.boattail-riviera-by-buick.com/ You can browse whats in the libraries, but not open any pubs until you register your or contribute to the libraries - Registry members who complete a members page and contribute to the libraries can even more including searchable pdfs of any library )or in the works) pub and videos at lower contribution levels.
Or take a look at the website owned and hosted by board member "Riv71" (Hugo, he's also from the Netherlands), this is the first worldwide 1971-1972-1973 Buick Riviera only website ever :TU: Click here :Comp: No need to register
yes that site i know its very nice but the site mentioned by Rob seems to me also interesting so i think i'll have a look around there too
@Roger I've spotted your Boattail 2 weeks ago at the Saturday Night Cruise in The Hague. Noticed that you're still the owner since March 2015, when you started this thread:
