A friend of mine has a 65 GS convertible 4sp sitting inside his auto parts store. He started to restore it but he just dosn't have time for it any more. He did a disc brake conversion on it, and new front end. The engine and tranny are out of the car and the nose of the car is off. This was a running driving car when he got it a couple of years ago. There is some bondo in the QTRS but it is far from rough shape. He wants $7000 for it but i think he would take $6000. It's located in Smithtown NY. If anyone is interested let me know.
Wow, these don't show up often. Bet there's less than 50 still in existence! What color is it? I sent an e-mail to a guy on 65gs.com that was looking for one.
Its red with white interior and top not sur if that's the original color the paint is not a good respray

Hey Fitz? I am very curious, if you are following board rules, HOW did this get a first buyer and a second buyer IN LINE If I WAS the 2'nd inquiry as in post #4.. and I NEVER SAW requested pictures of even a simple reply at all?????o No:????? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
well, could be right however, this is HIS line from his post: 'If anyone is interested let me know.' Oh well... I prolly didnt need another 65 anyway...
It is in the Leads section, not Cars for Sale. The rules you are referring to are in the Cars for Sale section.
Congrats to the new lucky owner!:beers2: Please inform the new owner about the 65 GS registry, forums, and immense resources such as pics, sales lit, vintage articles, and online manuals over at www.65gs.com :TU:
