Do any of you know of any places that either sell or make window cranks for (small vent and window) for GM "A" body cars?

I bought some of these crappy aftermarket ones and they don't stay in the grooves which make them useless.

I don't have the original and I'm stuck on what to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem advetised in "parts wanted" and got what I needed. Also seen on ebay, cheap ones are POS for sure.

I have several of these from a 71 Olds but I will bet they are the same. The knobs are pretty yellow though. Any interest?

    Thanks copperheadgs

I really need black knobs if possible. I don't think there's a way to transfer the knobs I have to those.

If anyone knows how, please tell me and I'll take the one from copperheadgs

Cant you get these from Motormite? Most auto parts stores usually sell them under the Help! line of parts. Or are these the crappy ones you mentioned?

the motormite cranks have poorly defined/cut splines and do not grab onto the window crank shafts very well.

Unfortunately those are just the same as the others. I can use them for my 72 K5 Blazer. The set-up on it is more forgiving than the Buick.

I'm going to hit the junkyard but that's going be a tough one to find without them being pitted.
