The shop that will be fixing the quarter panel, will be painting the body. I have all the lights, glass, molding, doors, fenders, rubber etc off already. I was toying with the idea of stripping off the white house paint myself but, that may be more mess than I'm into, not sure though. The guy who hit me, his insurance money is paying to fix and repaint just the damaged area (1800) but at this point the shop will just paint the whole thing. There's no real taping, removal or replacement for them to do. Just strip it-paint it. These guys only do BC/CC and mostly all classics and muscle cars. They quoted me around 3500 for the paint alone but, now that all the hardware is off I'm hoping to work it out with them for around 1000 cashola. Couple of weeks to go.

I'm going to go with Silver/Grey (ZZ) the factory color. What do you think? I found this one on ebay. Of course mine will be sweeter....:Brow:

The red interior was great already just the paint had dirty rust bubbling and worn through on door tops dash and steering column. Luckily all the panels are in good shape. Just a little cleaning and they'll be good to go.

Here, this will motivate ya's, I'll post a before pic of my steering column...

    perty......inside and out...

Kids, don't try this at home. The guts of a tilt wheel require patience, skill, and the service manual.
