Not Buick but good vids (all "shorts I think") about saving a rusted vehicle with pretty simple techniques. Posted here because we don't really have a bodywork forum: https://youtube.com/@BrandonsBus I assume this guy is a student of Fitzee, who teaches a lot of these type techniques: https://youtube.com/@fitzeesfabrications There's also some really good channels on fabricating the "right" way with all the fancy tools but the above show how much can be done with basic tools. https://youtube.com/@MakeItKustom https://youtube.com/@proshaper (amazing stuff).
I purchased the shrinking discs from Pro Shapers. More than impressed with the ability to shrink metal.
I like the fitzee fab and the make it kustom Karl . Both great content. Puddin's Fab Shop does some pretty basic type stuff too.
Watch the videos about shrinking metal with a disc. Don't be afraid to experiment. One of my experiments was to take a piece of aluminum that had a deep crease in it. Used the disc on the back side of the crease to shrink it away. Did not use a hammer or dolly. You could still see the line from the crease, but not feel it.
