intercooler questions?

  1. typically how big are air to air intercoolers? can they be mounted between the radiator and grill on your average GS? how big are the inlet and outlet tubes on your average unit? no reason for asking..just wondering.. :Brow:

Here's a picture I found on the internet of a ford powerstroke intercooler on the front of a GN (I think).

I think the inlets and outlets are 3".

You would need to move things around a little to get one in there that's big enough to work well (depends on power level. More is better!! :Brow: )

I took the easy way out and decided to build another car. :Dou:

The Bar Plate cooler I bought off ebay and an currently using is a pretty small piece. It works well though. I fits in front of my rad in it's stock location but doesn't leave much room for the AC condinser..........

    Hey Alan,

I don't have a real good picture of it, I'll see if I can snap a coule in a few days and put them up on a server.
