Intakes

I was just wondering 4BBL intakes are worth. Like a factory one or a slightly used T/A Stage 1 intake. Im just wondering for the future. I herd that a T/A intake can slow your car down is that true?:eek2:

for what type of motor and what year's are we talking about?

The motor is a 1970 350 2BBL in a Skylark.:grin:

 

4bbl intakes are going for around $75 to $100 on these years. especialy if you want a code dated one. look in the parts for sale section and you will see one with a carb cheap. i think it said $65 with the carb. thats super cheap.

 

You can get a cast iron intake for about $65 and TA intake for about $175-$200 I will be selling a TA in a month or two.

I just turned 16, and thats what i get, a 1970 sky custom with a 350-2(not for long thanks to phil:TU: ) but we moved just as i should have been getting my permit, so im unfortuneately licesneless because it just hasnt been a priority for anybody(other than me!) anyway, do you have any pics of your car? i think its so cool to see other young people into REAL cars!
