Do you think I can use a stock intake gasket on a 455 that was resurfaced .040 on the block and .045 on the intake side of the head? I am trying to read a machine shop print out that is faded, these may be not what was done, I am guessing they were. Thanks o No:
If that is what has been cut then there should be no problem. Always check the intake fit with no gasket and a flashlight. Then check with the gasket in place before sealing and bolting down.
