Intake/Exhaust Gaskets for Ported Iron Heads

    You may want consider doing the opposite, Mike and his head guy Wink iirc had great success with a standard exhaust valve and 2.25 intake

    Pretty sure that's what's I remember him saying many moons ago at the Nationals back when Engine masters was just taking off

    He explained it as follows,..the exhaust is being pushed out and that a big exhaust valve actually gets in the way,...look at the valve ratio on a LS3 head

    Ok thanks. I’ll have to look into that more. I was told on Buick’s the bottle neck is the exhaust and also that you want to keep the velocities high on the intake side.

    Also, I was reading a post where they said the stage 1 valves are kind of money wasted if your lift is 0.500” or less. Best for high lift situations.
