    Perhaps I am in the wrong forum; but, I'll give it a whirl. Now that I am in the middle stages (no pun intended) of the restoration, I want to make sure I have ample insurance coverage to cover the car while it is in my garage. My insurance agent indicated that I need to have an appraisal of the car to add the rider to my homeowners insurance. The car is not registered or insured...its in peices. How do I get an appraisal of my peices and parts?

    Thanks.

    Some carriers, especilly the specialty ones like Haggerty and Grundy , have relationships with certain groups of car appraisers. Ask JR Wills he is an appraiser. He may know a counterpart in your area. He could tell you whether a specialy auto carrier will quote it disassembled.

    Jim;

    Thanks.

    I'll try JR Wills.
