Im putting my rear seat back in the car today on my 71 skylark coupe. The insulation between the rear seat and trunk seemed to be like a thick and heavy card board. What is this material made of? And where can i find a replacement? My old one is all moist and in peices. And i dont think plain cardboard will do the trick. Any ideas?

You can buy them from any A-body supplier. Called Trunk Divider board...cost is about $20-30

I got mine from Poston Buick. I think what you are describing is the PACKAGE TRAY. Get the jute padding that goes underneath for a sound deadener also.
Be ready to pay more for shipping than the part cost as this ships oversize and shipping was about $32.00.
    Heres the link.

    Hope this helps.

I think he is refering to the piece that is behind the rear seat not the package tray.

Hmm, i thought i posted a reply but i guess it didnt show up. Yes copperhead is right, its not the package tray i need, just the jute padding that goes on the back side of the back rest of the rear seat. Trunk divider board seems to be the correct name, and i ordered it for $11.45 or sumthin. Thanks for the help.
