Mike, I am looking to get on of your High volume oil pump kits. I am wondering if the kit can be installed with out pulling the engine or even pulling the front cover? Just wanting to see when I will be able to install it. Thanks Tim
You could install it with everything in the car but you wont be able to check your end clearances. You'd have to install everything and make sure it spins freely without binding up and shim the plate to get it to where it doesnt bind, then pack with Vaseline and prime. Its easier to do it with the timing cover off the engine but yes it can be done with it on.
