I have a buick 72 skylark, that came factory with out a clock, recently purchased a clock for the dash have the wires there and lights but can't seem to get them to work, is there somethig besides the fuse that controles the clock power.
Use a volt meter to check +12V on the orange wire.....lights, gray and black, controlled by headlight controller. If the clock doesn't work....should be bench tested before installation....may need a quartz conversion.
thanks for the tip My headlight controler is not mounting properly in dash was thinking about replacing it
Make sure your headlight switch bezel-nut is not stripped and you have the ground disc on the back side.
Thanks, But what ground disc on the back of headlight switch, are you talking about not sure what that is?
I have the one pictured, email me direct GStage1@BuickPerformanceClub.com Will need full name and address for USPS....thanks!
tried to e mail you wouldnt go through. My e mail is Rkovo@roadrunner.com Richard Kovacic 17605 Harland Ave Cleveland Ohio 44119 216-526-9709 wondered if you have any other parts I am in need of, Hood release lever, hold down bracket for vaccum canister, and spring attachment from speedometer to colum shift for gear indicator
You better see if you can find the loose wire it attaches to. You need an assembly manual that shows all the wiring.
I just need the ground ring, what did you want fior yours, and did you locate the other parts i,m in need of
