Does anyone make a decent repro of these? Have seen conflicting reports.
The front of mine is perfect--clean shiny but the mirrored side has frost
    along the outer edges. Pete

Thanks Jim--I have a maplite one--I can live with it--at least looking at the
front it's still perfect. Can't see swapping something original for something
non original---however my STARTER was a different story!! Pete

someone just came out with repo map light mirror. I think it was GroundUp. might have to call.

I was looking thru a catalog yesterday at my shop and noticed it. I'll post more info monday, when im at the shop.

A little off topic -- but is there a way to "firm up" the mirror? Mine tends to wander down so eventually I'm looking into the backseat. I assume the swivel is a little loose.

Tighten the chrome screw on the right.

Sometimes the screw keeps loosening up because the threads in the bracket get stripped. Try a new screw also. I had to find new (used)bracket as tightening only worked for a while.
