I was wondering what is the easiest way to increase the inner fender by rolling the outer lip up, or to remove the lip. The wheels that I just got didn't have enough clearance between the tire and the fender to allow me to use them. They are American Racing wheels, back spacing is 3 3/4 in. with 275 60 T/A Drag Radials. When I installed them I could not get my fingers between the tire and the inner fender. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I had 275/60 drag radials on my car with 15x8 rims with 4-1/2" backspacing and had tons of room inside and out. I actually have 325/50 drag radials on now on 15x10 rims with 5-5/8" backspacing. I did "trim" the tops of the wheel wells about 1/4" to get good clearance.

You don't want to cut too far in or you may hit the spot welds and separate the inner and outer fenders.

    Good luck.
