Inner Fender Splash Shields Who makes the best (correct) inner fender splash shields and staples? It seems like none of the major suppliers show pictures of their repros so it's hard to decide. Thanks for any help.
I think they all come from the same manufacturer no matter who you get them from. I bought from YO and Cars an they were the same.
Not all the same. Get them from www.thepartsplaceinc.com They will include the correct staples. I have not seen the ones from YO since I refuse to deal with them and their outrageous shipping prices.
This leads me to the question, how do you use the new staples? My inner fenders still have the original staples in them. I plan to remove them and hold the new sheild in place and somethign pointed to mark the holes. is this how everyone else would do it?
My new staples wouldn't fit. I had to drill out the holes slightly then push them tru one at a time. I cut myself alot! very time consuming. Just allow some bulge in the seals so the control arms don't rip the seals from pressure.
