Inline heater control valve

    Some time ago, I found a heater core to replace the one in my '61 LeSabre. I wanted to get away from the one which has the heater valve mounted on the core, so I found one from a '62 Olds 88 was the same size, but uses the more standard inlet and outlet. And they are 3/4 inch to match the ones on my car. That left me needing an inline heater valve to mount directly on the heater hose to control hot water flow to the core.

    I had found one at O'Reillys, but it was $50 plus tax. Kind of expensive. Well tonight I located one a bit cheaper. You can see it here:

    Mine ended up being $16,40 with shipping, but much cheaper than the one at the parts house.

    That company also does cables, so I'm hoping I can find one for the air/fan as mine is broke. HTH
