Hello. I just recently inherited a 72 Sylark 350. I would like to do some maintenance work on it. Could anyone tell me how I could get some type or repair manuel on this beast? I just hunger for some information on it because right now, I have none. Also, how do I go about getting parts, such as a windshield, side windows, and door handles(interior)?

There's a good starter list. For things like general parts, Year One and Original Parts Group Inc (OPGI) are pretty good. Door handles, in and out, seat covers, Factory manuals (Chassis manuals and assembley manuals- these are the things that GM mechanics and assembly line workers used), chrome trim, and many other parts. A good Chiltons manual is a help, too. Get the '71 to '78 Chiltons. For engine parts I recommend TA Performance, but many are available at parts stores still. Windsheilds are still in stock, beleive it or not, at glass replacement places. For many parts, go to www.hemmingsmotornews.com

They have national listings for parts suppliers, remanufacturers and junkyards.

This website is also a goldmine. My car is essentially identical to yours, my '70 Chassis manual will answer almost any question you might have on the car, and I'm certainly not the best informed member here.

You should post your first name so we can call you something other than "second"
