Has anyone had any experience with these?

They seem to be rather inexpensive compared to others.

No, but look just like the one I bought on Ebay. Mine seems to be working just fine. Someone in the far east is making lots of intercooler stuff. You cannot get the welding done here for what they charge for these things.

On the 4" air to air they are almost $100 more than I paid.

    Intercooler - 31"x11.75"x4" - 3" Inlet/Outlet (Type 2) $239.99 This looks to be the largest A-A they sell?

I've seen the ones on Ebay also. I think the liquid to air is the best bet for my setup. I can buy 2 small units and the water tank for less than 1/2 the price of 1 name brand intercooler!

I feel bad that I am not buying a US made one but if I had to pay $800 it would be no intercooler. I can tell you the 4 inch really cools well. Of course it is dependent on air temperature so does lack consistancy.

hey, i take it for water to air intercooling you could still add water wetter or purple ice to the intercooler along with youre regular rad?

Would get pretty expensive dumping that stuff down the drain pretty often.

50/50 water/antifreeze and dry ice might work well.

the frozen boost are some very good air 2 water intercoolers and cheap as well, it is what i have on my turbo setup...sitting and normal driving iat's are only 5 degrees above ambiant temp., and after a full 1/4 mile pass it only goes 10 degrees above ambiant.

The frozen boost intercoolers you can buy off ebay as well, but stay away from the ebay GodSpeed intercoolers, they are cheaply made and junk.

All of the Subaru STI's use a trunk mounted water tank to spray the intercooler down. It's essentially a windshield washer pump, tank, and nozzle setup thats hard wired to a button on the dash. From what i can tell, it's fairly effective on the air to air intercoolers, and can help reduce the heat sink effect when you're sitting still.
