In need of a linkage piece

I am looking for a linkage piece to finish the carb rebuild. The carb number is 7045240 if that will help locate it.

Welding rod, good pliers and a vice. When you're done, drill the one end for a tiny cotter pin or spring clip to hold it in place. I leave space for a thin washer, it won't bind that way.

 

Looks like I may have to go that route...
